    Fiano Di Avellino D.O.C.Antica Hirpinia (Campania)
    The Antica Hirpinia vineyards are set on the sunny hills in the central east of Irpinia, where the ideal microclimate has been responsible for vines being grown here for thousands of years. Vines are cultivated in a traditional way, and using environmentally compatible treatments which respect the local habitat. The winery in Taurasi is a perfect symbiosis between tradition and advanced technology; large oak casks and small hand made carats sit side by side with modern steel tanks and advanced equipment to preserve the typicality and quality of the wines.

    Muller Thurgau D.O.C. CollioAzienda Agricola Ronco Blanchis (Friuli)
    This high vineyard, with its perfect exposure on the Blanchis hills, was already well known for its wines when the area was under Imperial Austrian domination two centuries ago. The Collio DOC area is renowned for the high quality level of its white wines, which possess great structure and complexity that can create great emotions and stand the test of time, developing unique aromas and perfumes connected with the vine's varieties and also with the territory.

    Cuvee Imperiale Max RoséBerlucchi (Lombardia)
    The partnership of Guido Berlucchi, Giorgio Lanciana and Franco Zilliani (a graduate of the Wine School in Alba) in 1961 form the origins of Berlucchi sparkling wine. In 1975 the sole use of Pinot grapes grown in their Franciacorta vineyards was reviewed and they decided to experiment with the blending of different wines - the “Cuvée”. This resulted in the famous Cuvée Imperiale Berlucchi made using grapes from Oltrepo Pavese, Trentino, Alto Adige, Gavi and Franciacorta. Berlucchi have since become the benchmark for all classical method sparkling wines produced in Italy.

    Pinot Nero I.G.T.Ca' Montebello (Lombardia)
    The Ca'Montebello estate was established in 1936 by the Scarani family. In the 1970's Luigi Scarani combined the experience of his father with the latest grape-growing and wine-producing techniques to concentrate on producing modern, quality orientated wines from their 30 hectares of vineyards in the foothills of the Oltrepo. Still family owned to this day, the Scarini's take great pride in their wines which are made with respect for the natural equilibrium of the environment.

    Levia Gravia Rosso Toscana I.G.T.Caccia al Piano 1868 (Tuscany)
    Bolgheri in Tuscany has assumed the role of standard-bearer of Italian winemaking, thanks to what English speaking wine lovers call Supertuscans, wines of unsurpassed excellence and distinctive sensory qualities. These wines, produced from merlot, cabernet franc and cabernet sauvignon, exhibit impressive body and structure and feature intense, complex aromatics. With the goal of enriching its line with two new red wines of distinction, the Gruppo Berlucchi acquired the Tenuta Caccia al Piano 1868, located in the very heart of Bolgheri’s most exceptional viticultural area, Castagneto Carducci. The estate comprises 20 hectares under vine, divided into three separate vineyards, each at a different elevation planted to Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon.

    Adèo  Bolgheri D.O.C.Campo alla Sughera (Tuscany)
    A new and exciting wine producer in Bolgheri, Campo alla Sughera was founded in 1998 by Knauf Italia. 20 ha of vineyards were aquired, specialinsing in Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Franc, Petit Verdot, Vermentino, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay grapes. Low yields, high vine density, handpicked grapes and careful vinification methods all contribute to the high quality of the wines.

    Moscato di Terracina  Secco OppidumCantina Sant' Andrea (Lazio)
    The history of Sant' Andrea spans 4 generations and 150 years, originating on the Island of Pantelleria when Andrea Pandolfo produced wines based on local Zibibbo grapes. Today Andrea's great grandson Gabriele continues the family winemaking tradition in the hills above Terracina in Lazio, making wines in the ancient styles known to this area since Roman times combining tradition with modern technology to produce a range of fine Moscato wines.

    Bivongi Rosso D.O.C.Cantine Lavorata (Calabria)
    Cantine Lavorata was founded by Vincenzo Lavorata back in 1958, situated in Roccella Jonica in the beautiful green valley of "Stilaro-Allaro", not far from the Ionian Sea in the province of Reggina Calabria. The wine producing region of Calabria produces particularly excellent wines, mainly due to its climate, soil and terrain.     Antinoo I.G.T.Casale Del Giglio (Lazio)
    The Agro Pontino region in Lazio, once the "Pontine Marshes" was drained during the 1930's and became a fertile agricultural area. However it was not until 1984 when the "Casale del Giglio" project was launched that serious wine production began in the area. Instigated by the regional administration and supported by a group of eminent oenologists, new varieties of vine plants were introduced that were suited to the maritime climate, and autochthonous species were rediscovered; both of which have contributed to the success of this project, enriching the traditional portfolio of the area with high quality wines.

    Gersemi Vino Nobile  Montepulciano D.O.C.G.Fassati (Tuscany)
    Fassati can claim to be among those wineries that made Vino Nobile famous throughout the world. Founded in 1913, they have grown to become a leading light in a wine-growing area which is rich in tradition. In 1969 they were acquired by Fazi-Battaglia, who also purchased new prime vineyards and built new cellars equipped with modern technology where the wine is left to mature to peak perfection.

    Lapia Cabernet Sauvignon  I.G.T.Fattoria Le Reniere (Tuscany)
    Situated in the Montagnola Senese, south west of Siena. Although olive oil is also produced on the estate, Fattoria Le Reniere's main focus is winemaking, growing mainly Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes which go into their Chianti and Supertuscan wines. Claudio Fiore, a well known Tuscan oenologist, oversees all stages of the process to ensure consistent high quality.

    The house of Fazi-Battaglia, founded in 1949, basks in the enviable reputation as the Marche’s leading producer. They are committed to producing wines of the highest quality, and are very selective in the choice of land for cultivation and in the choice of vine plants. Ever in the vanguard of new developments, it was Fazi-Battaglia who created the concept of the Verdicchio green amphora bottle in the 1950's which became the icon of Verdicchio in the area. They were also one of the first producers to introduce top of the range new styles of Verdicchio in standard bottles such as the excellent Le Moie, San Sisto and Massaccio.

    The Feudo di Santa Croce, which belongs to the Tinazzi family, is situated in the town of Carosino near Taranto in Puglia.     The Gaja family, originally from Spain, settled in Piedmont in the mid-17th Century. The winery was founded in 1859 and is today in the hands of Angelo Gaja, internationally acclaimed as one of Italy's and the world's great winemakers. He took over in 1961 and decided to focus on producing wines exclusively from his estate-owned vineyards, successfully transforming his family cellars into Piedmont's most dynamic estate winery.     Barolo  D.O.C.G. BussiaGiacomo Fenocchio (Piemonte)
    For over five generations, l' Azienda Agricola Giacomo Fenocchio have produced, vinified and aged great wines from the heart of the Barolo zone.     Ogliastra Radames I.G.T.Gli Antichi Poderi Di Jerzu (Sardinia)
    The Jerzu winegrowers' co-operative was set up in 1950 by Josto Miglior, a famous local doctor, with the help of some enlightened locals. There were originally forty-five members working the best and oldest vineyards in the area, in the heart of the hilly Ogliastra region near the east coast, where over the centuries the highly-esteemed Cannonau grape has found its ideal habitat. Antichi Poderi di Jerzu focus predominantly on producing Cannonau wines with characterful aroma and taste, rich in body and colour. Over the years the number of Antichi Poderi di Jerzu members has grown to over 500, and is now established as one of the most important producers in Sardinia.

    Barolo D.O.C.G.Guasti (Piedmont)
    Founded in 1946 in Nizza Monferrato in the heart of Piedmont, Guasti is a family company with a long tradition. The current owner, Clemente Guasti, works with his two sons Andrea and Alessandro in personally overseeing the most important and most delicate operations such as the harvest and vinification. Over the years they have purchased a number of local wine growing estates and only vinify grapes from their own vineyards.

    Dolcetto D'Alba Langavini  D.O.C.Langavini (Piedmont)
    The vineyard is the property of the Alessandria Family who have been making Barolo, Dolcetto and Barbera wines since 1924. It became to be known as Langavini in 1990, the word Langavini meaning “Love for the wines of Langhe”, and since then they have been constantly expanding and modernising to keep in line with the times. The vineyards are located in the territory of La Morra and Roddi at an altitude of around 400m.

    Fabrizio Bianchi  Chardonnay I.G.T.Monsanto (Tuscany)
    Castello di Monsanto began as a wedding present to Fabrizio Bianchi from his father in 1960. Fabrizio, a self-taught oenologist, was soon producing exceptional single vineyard Chianti Classico from the Il Poggio vineyard on the estate. Never afraid to embrace the spirit of challenge and experimention, the Bianchi family today have expanded to include a range of both Chianti Classico and Supertuscan wines from their 206 hectare estate. The soils, microclimate and local ecosystems are very important in the production of their high quality, finely crafted wines, which have achieved international acclaim.

    Frascati Superiore D.O.C.Monteporzio (Lazio)
    Cantina Sociale di Monte Porzio Catone was established in 1960 in an area well known for agriculture and wine production since Roman times thanks to it's healthy climate and volcanic soils. It is composed of around 250 members who harvest and contribute their own carefully selected grapes for the production of the famous D.O.C. Frascati wine.

    Adriana Chardonnay Langhe D.O.C.Negretti (Piedmont)
    The Negretti family’s roots have always been firmly set in their passion and love for wines of the Langhe. The winery was set up as recently as 2002 amidst the gentle hills surrounding the village of La Morra by brothers Massimo and Ezio, but this young and dynamic venture has not forgotten the traditions handed down from their great grandparents who were wine growers and producers at the beginning of the last century. The company philosophy is based on the constant, persistent pursuit of quality, and the brothers personally dedicate all their attention to the vineyards and winemaking on their 7 hectare estate of prime wine growing slopes in the villages of La Morra and Roddi.

    Gattinara D.O.C.G. Podere di GinepriNervi (Piedmont)
    Around 30% (33 hectares) of the entire hillside vineyards used for the production of Gattinara D.O.C.G. belong to Azienda Vitivinicola Nervi, most of them in the famous Molsino area. The winery was founded in the early 1900s by Luigi Nervi in the town of Gattinara. Here, in its recently renovated cellars, grapes are carefully vinified and aged for a minimum period of three years in Slavonian oak casks. Their wines posses a unique quality, achieving a perfect balance between innovation and tradition which is reflected in the number of awards won by Nervi, including Gambero Rosso's 3 Bicchieri for Podere di Ginepri 2001.

    Vigna Garrone Scavigna D.O.C.Odoardi (Calabria)
    Situated on the slopes facing the Tyrrhenian sea on the West coast of Calabria, Azienda Agricola Odoardi is located in the commune of Nocera Terinese e Falerna. In 1994, Odoardi began a full scale programme of vineyard and winery modernisation and improvement in order to achieve the best quality and expression of local terroir possible throught their wines. This has led to their reputation today for high quality Calabrian wines made from predominantly local grape varieties. Today around 95 hectares are dedecated to the production of Savuto DOC and 55 hectares for Scavigna DOC.

    Borgo Cennina I.G.T.Poggio Cennina (Tuscany)
    Borgo Cennina is a collaboration between Sergio Zingarelli, the President of Rocca delle Macie, and the co-owners of the Poggio Cennina estate in Tuscany, Paolo Rossi ( the football World Cup medal winner) and Luigi Pelaggi. The Poggio Cennina winery is situated high up in the Val D'Ambra, consisting of six hectares of organic vineyards which are cultivated alongside olive groves and fruit trees. The viticultural activities on the estate are directed by Fabio Primavera and the Sangiovese grapes cultivated there are vinified at Rocca delle Macie by Luca Francioni and his expert team.

    Barbaresco D.O.C.G. Sori LoretoRino Varaldo (Piedmont)
    The Varaldo brothers run a small, high quality winery in the very heart of the Barbaresco zone. Currently with around 7 hectares under vine, they produce only red wines; their main focus is on the nebbiolo grape and in particular in the production of Barbaresco wines.

    Ser Gioveto Toscana I.G.T.Rocca delle Macie (Tuscany)
    Rocca delle Macie is a young and dynamic wine producer whose name has become synonymous with high quality and good value. The company was started by film producer Italo Zingarelli in 1973. Out of sheer enthusiasm for winemaking he developed and expanded the business, acquiring the 85ha "Le Macie" estate soon after, and now more than 200 hectares of vineyards are cultivated over six estates. The winery is now in the hands of the son Sergio who, like his father, lays great importance on the selection of grape varieties and clones, careful pruning and the use of organic fertilisers to enhance the maximum ripening of the fruit.

    San Felice is one of the most popular and respected names in Tuscan winemaking. This heavyweight estate owns 650 hectares of land centred around a small medieval village in the heart of the Chianti Classico, the zone noted for producing the biggest and longest lived wines.     Prosecco Frizzante D.O.C.  MontelloVenegazzu (The Veneto)
    Founded in the Fifties by Count Piero Loredan, a direct descendant of the Doge of Venice Leonardo Loredan, in the Montello area of the Veneto. Here the red coloured "Monferrato" soil, rich in iron and mineral components, has been producing quality wines since 16th Century. Today, Venegazzu produce high quality Bordeaux blend style wines from their 80 hectares of vines, which reflect their philosophy of respect for both grape variety and territory. Their famous Capo di Stato has been listed in "100 Vins de Legende" by a French publication as being among one the hundred wines in the world that for their history and quality can be unanimously considered as legendary.

    Gavi di Gavi D.O.C.G.Villa Sparina (Piedmont)
    Villa Sparina, a prestigious country residence built in the 18th century already boasted vast underground cellars when it was acquired by the Moccagatta family 30 years ago. Whilst maintaining a lot of the originality of the architecture of the villa, they immediately started the careful transformation of the vineyards and the winery, establishing themselves as one of the most innovative and prestigious wine producers of the area.
